Seth O'Byrne: Real Estate Residential
O’Byrne Team leader Seth O’Byrne has spent most of his life dedicating his time to many diverse aspects of real estate; working for urban developers, city planners, residential and commercial brokers, and lenders. Even during his education at the University of San Diego, he worked closely with the Burnham-Moores Real Estate Institute and was awarded with professional scholarships from the Burnham-Moores Foundation and the Building Industry Association of San Diego for his hard work and attention to larger social issues in the world of real estate.
Before becoming an agent, Seth ran marketing for top producing Realtors® Lisa Blankenship and Dennis DeSouza. He went on to work with the commercial property management company La Jolla Financial while acting as an investment research analyst for ACI Commercial, San Diego’s largest apartment brokerage. “I truly believe that there is a sea of change ahead of the residential real estate industry.” Seth goes on to state “The average real estate consumer in San Diego is faced with financial realities unparalleled in most of the nation, with prices and appreciation rates few markets ever see, it is then imperative that San Diego homebuyers and sellers seek the council of fully educated and well established real estate professionals. To that end, we look to be recognized as the clear choice for those individuals who demand more from their Realtors ®, and that is what gets us excited to be in business!” Seth O’Byrne gained vital residential experience when he worked with the RE/MAX powerhouse, Middleton Team, which ranked 23rd out of 65,000 nation-wide RE/MAX agents with more than 200 transaction sides and $85 million in sales in the first 10 months of 2004.
As Seth grew within the team, he was recognized by La Jolla’s regional broker Michael Spinali & awarded with a free agent position with their beachside office. Alongside some of San Diego’s finest Realtors® Seth focused on service and attention to his clients’ real needs and concerns.
Most recently Seth has been recognized by RE/MAX International; a company made up of over 100,000 agents, and has been inducted into the RE/MAX Hall of Fame. After having completed over $115,000,000 in property sales, Seth and his team represent one of the regions best advisors with current market knowledge paralleled by few. Today Seth has two distinct sides to his business; the luxury home sales which have been such an intrinsic part of his growth and passion since the early 2000’s and the REO business which is the wave of the new market. “I believe we are in today’s market for many reasons, and as we sort out the lessons of this last decade I look to manage my team and
